2010 Spring Workshops

Workshops in session: Drop-in any time!

*Hip-Hop Workshops starting next week*

Hip-Hop Appreciation & The True School MC

Who is Afrika Bambaataa? Where did Hip-Hop really come from? These are some of the questions that will be answered within the Hip-Hop Appreciation & True School MC Workshop. Like any form of art, it came out of a social movement, and we plan to give you that movement so you can create your own musical revolution.

The True School MC workshop is your chance to sharpen up your verbal skills, lyricism, and overall essence of what it is to be an MC. You will be taught the raw fundamentals of lyricism that all great MC's must master. You will perfect tone, performance, concepts, and basics of the recording process. Various musical and rhythmic themes will be explored throughout this examination of what it is to be "True School."
